Dr. Todd Harbach, Iowa Ortho, Joins the BCH Specialty Clinic

Todd Harbach, M.D., orthopedic surgeon from Iowa Ortho, Des Moines, is now providing medical care at the Boone County Hospital Specialty Clinic one day a month.

Dr. Harbach received his Medical Degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Reno, NV, and completed a Residency and Internship at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. In addition, he completed a Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Recently, Dr. Harbach became the first in Iowa to use the Kiva VCF Treatment System to treat a patient with a painful vertebral compression fracture (VCF). This is the first new clinically proven approach to the treatment of VCFs in more than a decade.

Dr. Harbach’s specialties include neck and spine, IME, bone health and work injuries.
