Boone County Hospital’s mission of “bettering our community’s healthcare” is evident in the wide array of services that are available, the state-of-the-art technology, and the quality physicians and staff. The hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of Boone County and the surrounding communities for over 100 years.
BCH offers the Boone Orthopedic and Surgery Center, the Family Birth Center, Family and Friends Patient Comfort Rooms for hospice patients, a Sleep Disorders Center, a Wound Clinic, a Diabetes Center, and obstetrical and gynecological services. In addition, the hospital owns and operates Boone County Family Medicine in Boone and Ogden, the Madrid Family Practice Clinic, Beckwith Family Adult Day Services, Home Care Services, the Specialty Clinic, and Rehabilitation Services (physical, occupational and speech therapy).
The BCH Specialty Clinic offers a variety of specialties to meet the growing needs of the community. Over 20 specialty physicians from clinics outside of Boone come to the BCH Specialty Clinic several times a month to provide services to Boone County residents.

Patients undergoing surgery at BCH have access to one of the most technologically advanced operating facilities in the state of Iowa due to state-of-the-art operating equipment. The high definition equipment provides clearer pictures to physicians performing laparoscopic surgeries.
The Radiology Department has the most up-to-date equipment available in healthcare. Equipment and added benefits include an MRI, CT scanner, computed radiography, 4D ultrasound, digital mammography, in-house nuclear medicine and a fluoroscopy suite. In addition, the department is fully digital and the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) makes it possible for BCH physicians to receive and analyze diagnostic images at any time of day from their office and home.
