 Boone County Hospital (BCH) is pleased to announce Dr. Kent Weaver, AuD, Woodard Hearing Center, has begun providing hearing services at the BCH Specialty Clinic. He will be providing services in the clinic the first and third Monday of each month from 1 to 5 p.m.
Dr. Weaver received a Doctoral Degree in Audiology from the University of Florida. He also holds a Masters in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University Medical Center and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Grand View College, Des Moines.
Dr. Weaver has been an audiologist for over 12 years and has conducted research in audiology, written articles for journals, and is an expert in prescribing and fitting hearing instruments. His goal is to provide the best quality of care to assist individuals in achieving optimum hearing.
Dr. Weaver is a native of Boone. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, composing music, performing with a variety of musical groups, and sailing.
