Boone County Hospital (BCH) and Boone County Family Medicine (BCFM) are saddened by the unexpected loss of Dr. James Hardinger on Saturday, April 4th. Dr. Hardinger was a prominent physician in the Boone community for 32 years and will be greatly missed by his family, patients, co-workers and friends.
The physicians and staff at Boone County Family Medicine are committed to assisting with the health care needs of their patients. In this time of transition, please know Dr. Hardinger’s nurses Dennise and Cris, and the staff, will be available to help with any concerns that may arise, and will assist Dr. Hardinger’s patients in scheduling an appointment with one of the other BCFM healthcare providers.
BCFM recently welcomed Dr. Margaret Evans, a former resident of Boone County, and physicians assistant Nicole Goliber to their staff. Dr. Caleb Glawe, a promising young physician from central Iowa, will also be joining the clinic later this summer after completing his medical training. In addition, BCH is in the process of actively recruiting another family practice physician to join the BCFM team.
