 Youth & Shelter Services (YSS) of Boone County recently recognized Boone County Hospital (BCH) with its 2011 Partnership Award. BCH has provided inexpensive office space since YSS of Boone County started in 1974 and just recently went the extra mile and doubled the space for the YSS Family Counseling Center. The Hospital also is a sponsor of the YSS Pregnancy Prevention Teen Clinic, and co-sponsored the YSS Mental Health First Aid training last summer. For many years, the Hospital has also granted paid release time for employees to serve as mentors for the YSS GRIP Mentoring Program.
