Due to funds raised through various BCH Auxiliary events such as the sales in Gifts Galore, the Jewelry Sales, the Festival of Trees, and other fundraising events, the Auxiliary plays a significant role in helping the hospital purchase much needed items and equipment. At their monthly Board meeting in March, Auxiliary President Lynn Johnson presented BCH CEO Joe Smith with a check for $60,000 to put towards the purchase of the new Electronic Medical Record. In addition, the BCH Foundation Director Sara Behn presented Joe with a check for $20,000.
