Laboratory
 The Boone County Hospital Laboratory is available 24 hours a day and meets the rigorous standards established by the College of American Pathologists.
Boone County Hospital offers inexpensive blood tests that require no appointment. With our walk-in wellness screens, you may have your blood tested whenever you choose and you do not need a physician's order. There are seven profiles available offered between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. daily at Boone County Hospital. The costs are low because you pay at the time the service is provided. No insurance filing is necessary. Prior to lab test, stop at our Registration Desk for the proper forms and payment. Your results are sent directly to you.

* All profiles require a 12-hour fasting period prior to blood work. A pathologist's interpretation will be included with results, with the exception of the ABO/RRH Wellness. You will receive results within 72 hours.
