SHIIP

A SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information Program) volunteer is available to assist you with questions you might have about Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement Insurance and new changes in Medicare. The assistance is free.

SHIIP was created in 1990 at the State of Iowa Insurance Division to address health insurance questions and issues related to Medicare and other types of health insurance, including marketing and consumer protection. Boone County Hospital is a local sponsor of SHIIP.
