Swing Bed Program


The Swing Bed Program at Boone County Hospital is a level of care that provides skilled nursing care or skilled rehabilitation services.

The goal of the program is to provide a therapeutic atmosphere that assists patients with self-care and helps them work toward independent functioning.

Skilled nursing care and skilled rehabilitation services are performed under the supervision of a registered nurse, and a licensed physical, occupational or speech therapists.

Daily skilled services are provided on an inpatient basis.
