The Boone County Hospital (BCH) Outpatient Infusion Center (OIC) offers nursing services for patients with acute or chronic health condition management and prevention.   The OIC accepts orders for treatments including, but not limited to:

  • Allergy injections

  • Antibiotics

  • Biologics

  • Blood product transfusions

  • Chemotherapy and supportive services

  • Electrolyte imbalances

  • Hormone replacement injections

  • Hydration

  • Iron replacement infusions

  • Osteoporosis management

  • Mental health injections

  • Therapeutic phlebotomy

If you need a medicine that needs to be delivered through a vein (IV) or injection, BCH OIC is happy to assist with coordinating cares with your physician for medication delivery.

The Outpatient Infusion Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Hospital in the former Special Care Unit.
