BCH Employees Make Christmas Brighter for Those in Need
Each year during the Christmas season, paper angels are hung in the Boone County Hospital (BCH) cafeteria/atrium with a description of an individual or family who is less fortunate, and items they want or are in need of such as clothes, toys, personal items, food, etc. Employees then have the opportunity to pick an angel and buy the requested items for the individual/family. This year individuals/families were from United Community Schools and Boone Schools, as well as Westhaven Community and Eastern Star Masonic Home. In addition, employees had the opportunity to purchase items or donate money for goody bags for 100+ residents of the care facilities so they would have something to open on Christmas. Boone County Hospital employees once again went above and beyond by taking the time and their own money to buy gifts and food items for those individuals in need. The kindness and generosity of BCH employees has shown through and Christmas will be a little brighter for those in need! Thank you to BCH employees Tami Hartwig and Mindy Gorman who put in a lot of time coordinating the angels, gifts and goody bags.
