Emergency Preparedness for Boone County Topic at Support Group

The BCH Diabetes Support Group will be a little different this month.  Instead of targeting just diabetics, the program will target everyone and is something that is very relevant right now.  The Diabetes Support Group will be held October 16, 4 p.m., Boone County Hospital (BCH) 4th Floor Conference Room.  “Emergency Preparedness for Boone County and Dealing with Diabetes When a Disaster Strikes” will be presented by Dave Morlan, Boone County Disaster Preparedness Coordinator, and Connie Buss, RD, LD, CDE, BCH Diabetes Center.  This program is open to the public, not just those with diabetes.  Call 433-8624 to register.
