Goliber Receives the 2013 Brown Award
Congratulations to Nicole (Nikki) Goliber PA-C, who is the 2013 Boone County Hospital (BCH) Brown Award winner. Nikki was presented the award at an employee "Thank You" celebration in the hospital atrium on January 30th.
Weldon J. Brown established the Brown Award in honor of his parents, Eunice D. and Everett C. Brown, long-time residents of Boone. Each year, hospital employees nominate co-workers for the award that demonstrates outstanding service and exceptional accomplishments. The BCH Employee Rewards and Recognition Committee then selects on employee from all of the nominations that were submitted.
In her nomination, Nikki's co-worker wrote, "...I can't say enough about how her generosity, willingness to help and positive attitude affect all of those she treats, as well as works with. She is always willing to put others needs first. I have worked with many different providers in my 20 years of assisting physicians I can say she is definitely one in a million..."
On receiving the award, Nikki says, "I was so surprised. It is very nice to have been nominated by my staff. They make my job so much easier and are truly deserving of this award and recognition." She adds, "I am so impressed with all of the departments within BCH. There are often times I call the Lab or Radiology with questions and I always receive the help I need, which is so important to provide high quality patient care. I am truly blessed with my position at BCH."
Nikki is a physician assistant at the Madrid Family Practice Clinic, Madrid, and Boone Count y Family Medicine, Boone, both affiliates of BCH.
