New Service Offered at the BCH Specialty Clinic
Boone County Hospital (BCH) Specialty Clinic will be offering a new outreach clinic beginning November 19th through UnityPoint Center for Liver Disease. After November, the clinic will be offered the second Tuesday of each month.
Conditions treated by the Center for Liver Disease team include: NAFLD (fatty liver disease), acute and chronic hepatitis, drug induced liver injury, autoimmune disease of the liver, cirrhosis, genetic and metabolic liver diseases and their complications, liver cancer, and liver transplantation.
Dr. Donald Hillebrand and Dr. Rajani Rangray will be the physicians providing services at the BCH Specialty Clinic.
Donald Hillebrand, M.D., received his degree from the University of Iowa’s College of Medicine. He completed a residency and internship from the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics’ Internal Medicine Division, as well as a fellowship in gastrointestinal disease and hepatology. He is Board Certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology-hepatology and transplant hepatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. | |
Rajani Rangray, M.D., received her degree from the Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh, India. She completed a fellowship in hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine VA Hospital, Bronx, New York. |
