Boone County Hospital and Its Clinics Transition to New Electronic Medical Record
Flu Clinics for adults and children are now being offered at the Boone Wal-Mart and Home Care Services of Boone County Hospital by Boone County Public Health.
The Purse Auction held by the Boone County Hospital (BCH) Employee Assistance (EAP) Committee in the BCH Atrium in June had great results. Approximately 200 new or barely used purses were donated by employees and community members. Over $700 was raised from the event, and the most a purse was purchased for was $30.
It’s that time of the year when most of us are outside playing, camping, exploring and working in areas that have ticks in the grass and wooded areas. It’s great to be outside, but there is also the risk of tick bites, which can bring on diseases, most commonly Lyme disease.

Two scholarships are currently available through Boone County Hospital--the Auxiliary Scholarship and the Puntenney Scholarship. The deadline for both is July 15th.
