CMA, LPN, RN (Float) - BCFM-North Clinic - Full-Time - Days

Education: Graduate from an accredited program for Registered Nurse, graduate from an accredited program for Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program. For RN and LPN - current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa. BLS and Mandatory Reporting certification.

Experience: Medical office /outpatient nursing a plus. Will train the right candidate.

Minimum Skills and Abilities Required: Strong interpersonal skills, strong computer skills. Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred. BLS required. Strong customer service skills. Rooming and discharging patients in an outpatient setting. Assessment of patients, treatments, lab draws and resulting, etc. All aspects of clinical outpatient nursing. Responsible for obtaining and documenting medical histories, current medication lists, immunizations, and vital signs in the medical record. Schedules referral appointments and distributes patient educational information as directed by the physician/provider. Maintains physician schedule including outpatient procedures, clinic times, vacations, and meetings. Keeps exam and treatment rooms clean and properly stocked with supplies. Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
