Position Description: Food Service Worker - Cook
Status: Full-Time - 32 Hours per Week
Shift: Day / Evening
Shift Time Schedule: 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Variable Hours and Shifts
Days: Weekdays and Every Other Weekend
Education: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
Experience: 1 to 2 Years Kitchen Experience Preferred.
Duties Include: Food preparation, able to operate and clean standard kitchen and cafe equipment, basic computer skills, visit patient rooms and good customer service.
Position Summary: To provide nourishing food to patients, guests, and employees under sanitary conditions as directed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform a variety of tasks in the preparation, service and delivery of food products; interpret recipes, prepare, mix, cook, assemble, portion, service and store food for hospital cafeteria, Meals on Wheels, and/or patient food service. Also may function as a cashier.
