STARTING WAGE is $15.00 per Hour

Department: Dietary

Position Description: Food Service Worker - Cook

Status: Part-Time - 24 Hours per Week

Shift: Day - 8 Hour Shift

Shift Time Schedule: 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. / 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  (Weekends) - 3 days per week (including every other weekend)

Days: Weekdays and Every Other Weekend

 

 

Requirements

Education: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent

Experience: 1 to 2 years Kitchen Experience Preferred

Duties Include: Food preparation, able to operate and clean standard kitchen and cafe equipment, basic computer skills, visit patient rooms and good customer service.

Position Summary: To provide nourishing food to patients, guests and employees under sanitary conditions as directed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Preform a variety of tasks in the preparation, service and delivery of food products; interpret recipes, prepare, mix, cook, assemble, portions, service and store food for hospital cafeteria, Meals on Wheels, and/or patient food service. Desire to work with and serve co-workers, patients and clients in a way that is compassionate, personalized and respectful.
