Join us on the beautiful High Trestle Trail in Madrid, Iowa, for the 17th Annual Trestle Hustle — a community‑driven day of fitness, fun, and support for the Boone County Hospital Foundation.

Race Start: 8:00 AM
Check‑in and packet pickup details will be posted closer to race day.
High Trestle Trail – Madrid, Iowa
Start/finish located near the Dalander Park / Johnson Trailhead area.
Race Options
Choose the event that fits your goals:
- 5K Run/Walk - A great option for all abilities — walkers welcome!
- 10K Run - Our signature distance! This is the only race that crosses the iconic High Trestle Trail Bridge
- Duathlon - A run-bike-run challenge featuring - 2-mile run, 14-mile bike, 2-mile run (solo and relay teams welcome)
- Virtual Options - Complete the 5K, 10K, or Duathlon from anywhere during race weekend.
Who Can Participate
- Open to participants ages 14+
- Younger athletes may participate with a parent/guardian's consent and supervision
- All paces and experience levels welcome

Safety & Support
- Course safety monitored by local law enforcement and EMS
- Hydration stations available on 5K / 10K course and transition area
- Volunteers positioned throughout the route
- Road and trail markings for clarity
- Event is held rain or shine (weather alerts posted if needed)

Volunteer Opportunities
The Trestle Hustle wouldn’t be possible without the help of dedicated volunteers, and we would love to have you join us on race day!
Volunteers assist with a variety of roles including:
- Course and trail support
- Water and aid stations
- Participant check‑in and finish‑line assistance
No prior experience is needed — just a willingness to help and support this fun, community‑focused event.
