Boone County is located in central Iowa and has a population of 26,224. Boone has excellent public and parochial schools, the Des Moines Area
Community College, great cultural and recreational opportunities, and active churches and civic organizations. In addition, Boone is only 10 miles from Iowa State University, Ames, one of Iowa’s three main universities, and is a 30 minute drive to Des Moines, the capitol of Iowa.
