Nursing Honor Guard
Boone County Hospital has started a new initiative called the Nursing Honor Guard, serving those who serve others. The Nursing Honor Guard is a dedicated group of volunteer nurses (RNs, LPNs, active or retired) who recognize and pay tribute to fellow nurses during their final services. Just as military honor guards honor those who served their country, we honor nurses for their lifelong commitment to caring for others.
The Nursing Honor Guard recognizes this devotion by offering a heartfelt tribute during funeral or memorial services.
To arrange an honor guard tribute for a loved one who was a nurse, please contact (515) 433.8481 or email nursinghonorguard@bchmail.org
For additional information, review the Nursing Honor Guard brochure.
