The 2023 Scholarship Application will be available February 15 - April 15, 2024
Boone County Hospital (BCH), the BCH Foundation, and the BCH Auxiliary have several scholarship opportunities for Boone County high school seniors, second-year DMACC nursing students, and BCH employees or their family members pursuing a career in health care, nursing, and/or business.
IvaLou Wright Scholarship - for students pursuing a career in the medical field
Anderson Family Memorial Scholarship - for students pursuing a career in medicine
Cid Metcalf Memorial Scholarship - for students pursuing a business or technical program
Lila Carpenter Memorial Scholarship - for nursing students
Sigrid & Sandra Puntenney Memorial Scholarship - BCH Employees/Relatives pursuing a career in a healthcare-related field
Boone County Hospital Scholarship - for students pursuing a career in a health-related field
Boone County Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship - BCH Employees/Relatives pursuing a career in a health-related field
There is one application form for all scholarships. Applications and all required attachments must be submitted online via our application form. The deadline for fully completed applications must be submitted on or by April 15th (all applications after April 15th will not be considered). No handwritten or mailed applications will be considered.
Selection is made without regard to gender, ethnicity, or religion.
Scholarships will be selected by a committee from the Boone County Hospital Auxiliary, employees, and Foundation Board.
Scholarship disbursement will be paid directly to the educational institution. No outright gifts to recipients will be made.
In addition to the application, you will need the following information:
Acceptance letter for accredited college or training program (full-time)
Two letters of reference, including legible name and email address
