BCH Celebrates New Ambulance

February 18, 2026

Boone County Hospital (BCH) proudly hosted a ribbon cutting with the Boone County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on February 17 to celebrate the addition of its newest ambulance.

The ceremony highlighted the hospital’s continued commitment to strengthening emergency response capabilities throughout the community.  Hospital leadership expressed appreciation for the community’s ongoing support and emphasized how crucial this investment is for providing timely, high‑quality emergency care.

A heartfelt thank‑you goes out to the many supporters who made this ambulance possible: the BCH Auxiliary, generous donor Kathleen Manatt, Harvest Festival donors, El Viejo, and numerous other community partners whose contributions ensured this important project could move forward. Their dedication to enhancing local healthcare continues to make a meaningful impact.

The Chamber Ambassadors officially welcomed the new ambulance into service with a ribbon cutting and recognition of the team members who make Boone County EMS exceptional.  This event marks an exciting milestone as BCH continues to expand the resources available to patients and first responders. The new ambulance is now fully in service and ready to meet the needs of the community.
