BCH Receives Quality Recognition

Boone County Hospital (BCH) is a proud participant in the Compass Hospital Quality Improvement Program from 2020-2024.       

The Iowa Healthcare Collaborative and its partner organizations, collectively known as the Compass Network, are proud to be one of nine Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Hospital Quality Improvement Contractor awardees.     

Throughout the program, participating Hospitals, which include BCH, have met every challenge with commitment to improving safety and quality care for the patients we serve.   The commitment and rigorous efforts to reduce harm, improve outcomes and engage patients have resulted in the achievement of widespread results.     

To recognize the excellence in quality improvement, BCH received a banner from the Compass Network that will be displayed on the wall in the main floor of the Hospital across from the large bulletin board with our organizational goals. The banner will serve as a symbol of BCH's commitment to providing the best possible care to the community.
