COVID Testing Rules

September 17, 2020

If ANYONE in your household is tested for COVID because they are having some possible symptoms, please remember the following:

  • EVERYONE in your household must self-quarantine until the test results are back and the family member is found negative.

  • This means that all other children in the household must NOT attend classes/activities until the test results are back.

  • This also means that adults should NOT be going to work unless they have been deemed an essential worker. If you are an essential worker you should still notify your employer that you are awaiting test results and they will give you direction.

If YOU were tested for COVID due to a KNOWN EXPOSURE, please remember the following:

  • YOU must self-quarantine for 14 days even if the results are negative. This means that YOU may not attend school or any of the school activities for the entire 14 days, and YOU should not go out in public for the entire 14 days. If you are an adult you should not be at work. If you have been deemed an essential worker you should notify your employer once you receive your results and they will advise you what to do.
