Dr. Bina and Dr. Sheffler Elected to Board

The Iowa Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (Iowa Chapter ACOFP) elected Kimberly Bina, D.O., Boone County Hospital (BCH) Emergency Services, to a one-year term, and Jason Sheffler, D.O., Boone County Family Medicine South, to a two-year term, as trustees to the Board at the recent annual conference and scientific seminar held in Des Moines.

Kimberly Bina, D.O., is a 2001 graduate of Des Moines University, Des Moines. She completed her Family Practice Residency at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. In addition to working in Emergency Services at BCH, she also works at Skiff Medical Center, Newton.

Jason Sheffler, D.O., is a 2008 graduate of Des Moines University. He completed his Rotating Internship at Michigan State University and his Family Practice Residency at the University of Minnesota.

The Iowa Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, headquartered in Des Moines, is a professional association for osteopathic family medicine physicians in Iowa.
