Face Masks Available for BCH Patients
If you have your own mask, you are allowed to wear it to your appointment at the hospital or clinics. However, if you do not have your own mask, a mask will be available for you to wear at your appointment.
Beginning Thursday, April 16th, homemade, resusable/washable masks will be available for patients visiting the Hospital and Clinics for necessary appointments. A group of volunteers are making homemade masks with the intention to give one to each of our patients who need to visit any of the following areas:
- Physical Therapy
- Lab/Radiology
- Same Day Surgery
- Infusion Therapy
- Dr. McIntire/Gabrielson Clinic
- BCFM North/South Clinics
- Madrid Clinic
- Ogden Clinic
As they are completed, the masks will be delivered to the Hospital and then disseminated to these areas as soon as possible. The patient will be able to keep this mask for their personal use and to reuse for recurring appointments. Please contact Sara Klute Behn at sbehn@bchmail.org if you have any questions. Another huge THANK YOU to the volunteers making masks!
