Guidelines for Surgeries and Procedures
As of May 4, 2020, outpatient surgeries, appointments and procedures have resumed at 50% volumes as long as the following criteria is met:

An adequate supply of PPEs (personal protective equipment) is on hand for staff.

The patient has a COVID test done within 48 hours of surgery and the results are negative. The patient must also pass screening questions.

If the patient has a fever, cough or low 02 saturation or has been exposed to a person with COVID, the surgery will be postponed.

Inpatient beds are available for patients.

Visitor restrictions remain in place (there are a few exceptions).

Physical distancing measures are followed. Patient will not sit in waiting area and will go directly to the exam room, if possible.
These guidelines are set forth by the Governor’s proclamation and will be reevaluated on a daily basis.
