Guidelines While at Boone County Hospital

May 4, 2020

Please follow these guidelines while in Boone County Hospital.

  • Caregivers are NOT permitted to accompany patients during outpatient testing/procedures/treatments.  The only exceptions are for minors and patients who are unable to communicate or make decisions.

  • After the outpatient service is complete, hospital staff will arrange for you to be escorted to the door, and caregivers can meet you there.

  • If you have a mask, please wear it at all times when in our facility.

  • Maintain adequate social distancing and keep 6 feet of separation from other patients, visitors or hospital staff.  Be aware of masking tape on the floor that allows 6 feet between patients.

  • Arrive on time for your scheduled appointments.

  • Please use the hand sanitizer that is available throughout the facility.

  • If you are experiencing a cough, shortness of breath, fever or other respiratory symptoms, reschedule your appointment and consult with your primary care provider.

Thank you for helping us create the safest possible healthcare environment!
