RSVP Shoe Event

Look at all of the shoes!  Thanks to Samaritan’s Feet Senior’s Program and the RSVP 55+ Program of Boone, Greene, and Guthrie Counties, Seniors had the opportunity in mid-October to receive a new pair of shoes specially designed for them.     

RSVP received County Community Foundation funds to distribute shoes/socks:

• Boone County—150 pairs

• Greene County—50 pairs

• Guthrie County—50 pairs

Also included in their tote bag was a hygiene kit, fall prevention tips, wellness tips, and a hope note card written by an adult our youth. In addition, Public Health provided COVID test kits for each tote bag.     Thank you to everyone that was involved in making this initiative happen.
