Thank you BCCF for Supporting Food for Kids

Boone County Hospital would like to thank the Boone County Community Foundation (BCCF) for its generous $5,000 grant in support of our summer BCH Food for Kids Program. Food for Kids plays a vital role in ensuring children from kindergarten through 12th grade have access to easy-to-prepare, healthy food options they can make on their own at home.

With many parents working while children are home during the summer months, access to nutritious food is more important than ever.

This summer’s program will begin on Tuesday, June 16, in Ogden; June 17 in Madrid; and June 18 in Boone and will continue through the first week of August.

This investment from the Boone County Community Foundation will have a meaningful impact on children and families across Boone County who rely on the Food for Kids program. The Foundation’s continued support truly makes a difference in our community.
