Three New Providers Join BCH Medical Staff

Boone County Hospital would like to welcome three new providers to their Medical Staff.

Thomas Bik, ARNP, is now providing care at the Boone County Family Medicine Walk-In Clinic. He received his degree from Chamberlain University, Chicago, IL, and most recently worked in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. No appointment is needed to be seen by a provider in the Walk-in Clinic.

Megan Sloat, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), is now providing obstetrics and women’s health at the Madrid Family Practice. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University School of Nursing, New Haven, CT. Megan previously served as the Director of Midwifery and Women’s Health in Ames and Des Moines since 2014. To schedule an appointment, call (515) 795-4300.

Mohamed Humad, M.D., is providing care in the Emergency Room alongside Drs. Evert, Krome, Sheffler, and Napier. He received his Medical Degree from Windsor University School of Medicine, Saint Kitts, West Indies. Prior to joining BCH, Dr. Humad worked in the Emergency Room at two hospitals, where he also served as Medical Director at one of them.
