Update on Mask Initiative

April 15, 2020

Due to the overwhelming need for homemade masks for our patients coming to outpatient appointments at the Hospital and Clinics, we need more time for our volunteers to sew masks and therefore, we are unable to begin the process of distributing masks until further notice.

The good news is we have enough masks for our staff and now we are working on getting one to each of our patients who do not have a mask.

Do you have fabric to donate?  If so, please contact Heather Cook at 433-8300 or hcook@bchmail.org or drop it off to the Main Atrium of Boone County Hospital from 6 am – 5 pm, Monday-Friday.

Can you sew masks for our patients?  If so, please contact Sara Klute Behn at sbehn@bchmail.org

If you have your own mask, please wear it to any and all BCH/Clinic appointments.

Thank you for your help and understanding during this time of trying to help as many as possible in the Boone County community.
