What you should know about an Advance Directive

June 21, 2022

Did you know you do not need to go through an attorney in order to have an Advance Directive? However, it is important that the Directive is notarized, and Boone County Hospital (BCH) has staff that can help you with that. In addition, it’s important you bring a copy of your Advance Directive to the hospital to have on file so that your wishes are noted. For additional information, please talk to Addison Enns, BCH Social Worker, at 433-8465 or aenns@bchmail.org.

The topic for the BCH Foundation’s July Educating and Empowering U will be on Advance Directives and will be online July 19th. Watch for more information in the coming weeks.
