On an interim basis, Boone County Hospital (BCH) has two diabetes educators/dietitians from Mary Greeley Medical Center covering our Diabetes Education Department one to two days a week. To talk with one of them, please call (515) 433-8624 and leave a message.
The Boone County Hospital Diabetes Center offers high quality, comprehensive diabetes education and nutritional education.
The diabetes team consists of registered dietitians, a physician and other healthcare professionals. Each team member will work with you to develop a treatment plan that will normalize your blood glucose levels to help you live a long and healthy life with diabetes.
Healthy Eating for Better Health
At Boone County Hospital, we offer a variety of services that can help improve and maintain your health. One of our dietitians is available to help individuals with diabetes, weight control issues, high cholesterol/lipids, high blood pressure, eating disorders and more.
